Overview

Our new qualification in Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management has been
developed to meet the requirements of the sector and to respond to the needs of our centres.

This qualification provides the core knowledge, understanding and skills to support learners
planning to further their studies in health and social care sector. Learner may progress from this qualification to employment in the sector or pursue higher education in a relevant field.

This qualification has been developed with the support of higher education providers and centres who are planning to deliver health and social care management programmes. Progression

On successful completion of this qualification in there are a number of progression opportunities.

Learners may progress to:
• LMQ Level 4 Advanced National Certificate in Health and Social Care Management
• employment in this sector at an appropriate level

Entry requirements

• Learners who possess Qualifications at Level 2 and/or; QUALIFI Level 3 Diploma in H&SC Learner Guide December 2016 10
• Learners who have work experience in the health and social care sector and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals;
• Learners who possess a level 3 qualification in another discipline and want to develop their careers in health and social care.
